At a sitting of the Ad Hoc Committee on Budget and Finance held on 29 October 2014 BDIF Chairman, Mr. Rossen Nikolov, presented before the Committee’s MPs a report on the activities undertaken by BDIF for providing liquidity and back-up financing in the event of payout of guaranteed deposits with Corporate Commercial Bank and/or ‘Victoria’ Commercial Bank, the measures securing BDIF technical preparedness to fulfill its mandate, as well as the preparatory work for ensuring subsequent sustainability of the deposit guarantee scheme.
