On 20 May 2015 the Council of Ministers reappointed Radoslav Milenkov as Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Deposit Insurance Fund for a new four-year term of office.
Mr. Radoslav Milenkov holds a master’s degree in finance, graduating with honours from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, and has extensive experience in the banking industry. Mr. Milenkov started his career as a stock exchange broker and was later an auditor with ‘Deloitte & Touche’ – Bulgaria. Between 2003 and 2011 he held different managerial positions at First Investment Bank, incl. a Member of the Management Board (2005-2011). From 2012 till November 2014 Mr. Milenkov was a Member of the Management Board and Executive Director of Municipal Bank. By Resolution No. 772 of the Council of Ministers dated 19 November 2014 Mr. Milenkov was appointed as Chairman of the BDIF Management Board replacing the outgoing Rossen Nikolov.
